Scott
Jacques Bermon Webster III (born April 30 1993) is an American rapper. His stage name is the name of a beloved uncle who has the first name and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his inspiration, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, as well as a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint record deal with Epic Records and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released as a self-release. In 2013 Scott self-released his debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh, and then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. The album that he released as his debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was a hit due to the single "Antidote". His follow-up album called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott's sophomore album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in late 2019 on Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the 200-page chart on Billboard. Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to have three singles reach number 1 in less that an entire year, in the year 2020.
